quick & easy!!

Running Smoother Each Year I use

I am happy I could now E-File Federal return. I ran into an issue when I auto transferred files from "it's Deductible". Once transferred I modified contributions to charity and resent files. Kept old entry with missing components but picked it up during Error check. After reviewing and reviewing I realized it was an old entry,I had to manually delete entry. Did not alert me to pick up new pin for E-File had to hit Edit to get new pin.
What's great about it: Finnaly allowing Federal E-File
What's not so great: Has a flaw when transfering from "it's Deductible"

Quick and Easy

Every year I have high hopes of getting my taxes done as soon as I get all the paperwork needed. Every year I'm doing it the 14th and sometimes the 15th. Always make the deadline, for Turbo Tax is quick and easy.
What's great about it: I can file my returns in one day!

Got through a rough year

I have used this product for many years, and this year I received my income in a different manner, and thought the filing would be harder. It was not any harder, but did go through all items carefully to ensure I was doing the right thing. It makes you worry a little more, when you did not pay any taxes all year.
What's great about it: The way the product takes you through the deductions and has good explanations on what is and is not allowed.
What's not so great: Not really sure if I missed anything, but feel comfortable filing.

Long-long-long time user

I never wonder about any of my answers. I know I'm doing it right and there are no missed loopholes. I just am confused that so many other users don't have to pay anything but seem to get the same service. I've been using this program since it had another name and owner in the 1970s. I have never been disappointed but Im starting to feel like my loyalty is working against me. If anything, you would think I would get a break fro using it so long.
What's great about it: So easy to use. Questions are cross referenced and in layman's english
What's not so great: Why do I have to pay more than everyone else I know who uses it? Most people I know don't pay a nickel.

i owed way more than I thought i would

my wife and i have been using Turbo Tax for many years. This year was the first time to file with both of us receiving Social Security benefits. The software was pretty comprehensive. On the downside, I think Turbo Tax led me to believe we needed the Deluxe package, but in reality the Standard Deduction would have worked for us and at a savings.
What's great about it: easy to follow for the most part
What's not so great: I feel i was not given the information needed to make an informed decision regarding the need to upgrade to the premium
