Easy Does It

I have been using turbo Tax for 6 years and love it
What's great about it: Very easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Last year's file was not saved correctly

Although my return from last year was saved on my Desktop, this year's TT could not find or recognize it. It was saved as a PDF file so didn't have the extension that TT was looking for this year? Well, that's how the file was saved by TT, not me. This meant all the info I thought could be easily transferred over had to be input manually instead. Being able to do that was one of the main reasons why I stayed with TT. Other than that, everything worked fine and it's best to just go through all the options instead of trying to skip any - you might skip something you didn't realize applied to you.
What's great about it: Very thorough, just follow the steps
What's not so great: Couldn't read the file created last year

Very Good as Usual

What's great about it: Follow the schedule answer the questions, compare previous years.
What's not so great: When you get a good review don't make it so hard to submit it. Nick Name ??? What's up with that ???

Removes the pain of filing!!!

Overall, I continue to be very satisfied with TurboTax as a software product. My only problems in the past were technical problems with technology use to operate your software -- I have never experienced any issue with TurboTax throughout the many years I have used this product to prepare my returns.
What's great about it: Easy guidance to complete all requisite forms, as well as locating any applicable paths to secure a deduction.
What's not so great: I encountered an isolated problem determining how to record income that was not required to provide a W-2.

BETTER RETURN THAN EXPECTED!

Have used TurboTax since 2006 to prepare our state and federal taxes and will continue to do so into the future. Easy to use as long as you have all your information handy, just follow the step by step prompts. I am by no means an accountant, this does all the work for you!
