VERY HELPFUL AND EASY TO COMPLETE. DON'T NEED A TAXMAN OR CPA UNLESS YOU HAVE COMPLEX DEDUCTIONS.

I have used turbo tax for several years now for myself and others in my family. I like the ease of the program and feel that it covers everything needed. I used to pay someone to do this and they were not as thorough nor as inexpensive.
What's great about it: thinks for you
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I was very pleased with my results especially considering I'm a retiree on a fixed income.

Practically Painless

No one likes filing taxes & every year I put it off later & later. Turbo Tax makes it as painless as it is possible to be, taking out the major headaches & guesswork. I can't believe we actually paid someone BIG money to file for us for so many years because of the intimidation factor of the tax code. THANK YOU Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy to follow, Details taken care of, practical, saves time

Long time user of TurboTax and it keeps getting better year after year. This should be the only option to consider for most people.
What's great about it: Ease of Use, Tax Info flows right into State Tax, Easy E-File

I have used TurboTax for several years and, instead of getting easier, it seems to get more complicated and difficult. My income and deductions haven't changed; it is the program is not as simple as it used to be.
What's great about it: I like being able to do this myself and re-checking on items where I have a question. The forms are all neatly printed.
What's not so great: It was difficult to get an answer to questions I had.

each year this program has declined where I belive I should try something else. No helpful hints like in years past, less information on items and no help at all on state.
I bragged about this progam for years now I am greatly disappointed and will most likely try something else next year.
This used to be a fun program to use with pop ups and answers available, not its just enter and peck info.
