I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. This is the first time I have had a problem. After working on it all day, to have a problem with the last step is very frustrating!!!
What's not so great: would not process credit card payment to file state taxes

State Not So Simple

I really liked it all except I thought handling the State exemptions and gains/losses was confusing with little or no help.
What's great about it: Fills in almost everything from the Fed
What's not so great: Dealing with State exemptions and capital gains/losses was not always clear.

This is a easy process, TurboTax ask the questions, directs you to where to locate info and you fill in the blanks.
What's great about it: A seamless process, just follow requested steps
What's not so great: Nothing wrong with process

I have used TurboTax forat least 7 years. Love it! So easy to use and they keep are requirements to file up-to-date.

Good product, easy to use. But pricey.

Turbo Tax definitely simplifies the process of preparing a tax return. Very straightforward to use and easy to understand. Well written software that gives me confidence in my return.
But it is pricey. Apart from the purchase cost, you also are charged $25 to electronically file a state return. Add it all up, and it's not cheap. And if you need to deduce a home business expense of certain types, then you need to upgrade to a premium version.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Rather expensive

i was doing my taxes with another online source and i decided to go back to turbo tax just to see what the difference was.. and sure enough turbo tax gave me a better deal... so I'm sticking with turbo tax...
What's great about it: help me get a better refund
What's not so great: the payment option was a little confusing for installments
