Devils in the details

Was told i would get a partial refund - no refund received.
What's great about it: Quick & easy to use
What's not so great: Bought the basic edition then had to upgrade and pay full price.

Couldn't be easier

I have been using this program for years and I can not imagine why anyone with a typical tax profile would not find this to be the easiest and yet most thorough tax program out there. My grown kids have even begun to use it and they also love it.
What's great about it: Explains everything

Review lacks detail

During review, TurboTax said I needed to provide more information regarding childcare providers. However, for Federal, it just said things like, "Address needed for provider #1" - like I remember which one I inputted first! During the California review, it was more specific and would say "Address needed for care provided by ABC School Aftercare" so I knew exactly which address to put in. To make matters worse, after clicking through all the prompts and not fixing any of the childcare issues in Federal, it was VERY difficult to actually find the childcare provider section so I could manually fix the problem. The same thing happened in California. Once I provided addresses during review (i.e. fixes), there was no way to go back and make corrections as I couldn't find that particular section. TurboTax should allow a person to access each section in it's entirety for any information entered.
What's not so great: Hard to find items needing fixing outside of review area

TURBO TAX

Great, have used it for 10 years, never a problem
What's great about it: Easy to follow, easy to understand. perfect for my short form
What's not so great: had to call for some detailed explanations on question that should have had an easier answer
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
