Last year I retired in April.
That made for a complex filing situation, with IRAs, pensions, and Social Security income sources.
Turbo Tax took the confusion and stress out of filing!
What's great about it: Once again, Turbo Tax has made it a breeze to file our taxes. This year was very complex, I retired.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Software

Overall a pleasant experience-like the step by step process as it assures nothing gets missed. Its Deductible is a great tool for noncash donations-makes that value process much easier then having to research yourself. Like the fact that Turbo Tax keeps the tax return in current status immediately as transactions are posted.
What's great about it: Easy to use-step by step walk thru
What's not so great: Sometime verbage is difficult to understand

I enjoy using Turbo Tax and have someone do them for me,
I have for 20 years. I always buy a copy but my daughters try to get me do use it though my bank or on your site. Sometimes I come to certain questions that really make me think to be sure I am doing it all correctly. Thank you for your product as I would not want to do it manually.

Annoying loop!

What's great about it: questions were clear and straightforward
What's not so great: unfortunate loop that took us through the same information dozens of times!

very hARD TO PRINT RETURN FOR SUBMISSION, ESPECIALLY IF EFILING FED and not state. need to fix it!

When I entered my fathers personal information I checked none of the above situations apply to me that corresponds to box 6a yet it shows up checked on my return and I cannot delete or fix it after multiple attempts. My return keeps getting rejected and this is very frustrating. I filed on April 9th and never received an e-mail that my return was rejected. Now it's April14th and I am stuck with this problem and waiting 90 minutes for a return phone call from an advisor.
What's great about it: step by step process
What's not so great: cannot fix errors
