Always makes tax-time easlier !

Turbotax is ALWAYS a pleasure to use... never a hiccup and covers all the nasty IRS bases in easy to decipher accompanying "what's this mean?" click-on help pop-ups.
In addition the format of your saved forms is always another plus.
DEFINITELY worth the money!!!

Quick and Easy

This edition of Turbo Tax worked very well for me this year for mostly retirement income sources. I am not sure if it would have been good for investment of business source income, but it worked well for pension and annuity based income sources.
What's great about it: Step by Step Guidance very helpful
What's not so great: Guidance on 1099-MISC for Legal Settlements could be a little clearer on wages portion

have been using the last 8 + or - a year and it makes doing my taxes doable with out having to go back and forth to a tax company.

Good as Usual

I did both the online / cloud version and the traditional one. Didn't finish up filing with the on-line version because I had already paid for the disc and one state. The on-line version was more difficult to navigate, in my opinion.
What's great about it: I've used for over 12 years and like the pattern
What's not so great: Sent the disc too early and I lost it.

Why I Love TurboTax!

I have "math anxiety" and TurboTax does the work so I don't have to....
What's great about it: Ease of use, familiar format year to year, cost and having all the facts and figures all in one secure spot
What's not so great: Cons? Kidding, right?

A Bad Year

I don't know whether I received a bad disk or what, but I could not get the program to run consistently well. Some pages or parts thereof would not load properly requiring actions from restarting to reinstalling the program to get through. The free upgrade to the home & Business version would not work at all. Even the help screens were blank. I could not utilize the credit card payment feature, forcing me to file by mail. All-in-all I spent about 24 hours just to complete one form - unacceptable - while it should have taken only a couple hours at most.
What's great about it: TTax did its usual thorough job of leading me through the process.
What's not so great: Disappointed. I had many software issues with the program. It took many reboots & guessing to get through the process.

Easy to use, and always gives suggestions. The reviewer at the end always makes sure I didn't leave a box empty and the free federal e-filing is great.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, and always does its job.
