Got alot more back than expected

Have used turbo tax for many years and this was the best and easiest year to use
What's great about it: very easy to follow and use
What's not so great: N/A
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbotax is easy to follow: step by step. It's good to be able to plug stuff in and see instantly how it affects your tax bill. It helps us average people learn how the complex tax code works

I have been using TurboTax for years, and always is a good product. The one concern I have is that I think there were some changes to the Deluxe version, which may have left out some of the forms I need unless I bought the higher-priced Premium version, which was reversed. Hopefully, Deluxe will remain the complete version that I need for my future tax returnes.
What's great about it: Easy to load and update. Excellent guide through the preparation. Excellent explanations of topics.
What's not so great: None.

Very Good Guidance with some Flaws

I encountered several times that changes I made by going back to a previous subjects were eventually not considered in
calculations. Or correcting my second-thought changes to the original values did not show up again.
Because I felt unsecure I started TurboTax from the beginning several times.
I made one time a mistake by assuming that I could put in the miles for commuting with my car from/to work. I deleted my entries, but TurboTax still reported 5 errors when crosschecking the federal returns. By clicking through the questions for work-related deductions the previously entered
commuting was not to see anymore but these 5 errors could not be deleted.

I found that the 2014 Deluxe version Software is improved over last year and navigation was even easier this year. I had concerns about handling some 1099 forms, but Deluxe version covered it all. Even the State SW I downloaded was improved.

lost everything

Nothing worked this year. I could not even access my account. One of the benefits was having last years information automatically populate information for this year. Don't know what happen but not sure if I will use this product next year. No time saver????

Perpetually Grateful

Tax time has never been fun for me and never will be, but Turbo Tax has taking a previously extra arduous, stressful chore and made it MUCH MORE palatable. Not only does Turbo Tax do so much of the work for me, it does it so pleasantly. It's like having a kind, knowledgeable friend walk me through the process. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Turbo Tax!
