I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and I like that it is easy to use. I especially like the What's this? link that gives more detail and explains what the item is or what the paper should look like that has the information needed.

One more successful tax return

Turbotax has improved over the years. It's gotten much better.
I started doing my taxes early in the year, then stopped for three weeks. When I restarted, the program took me to step 1. All the information was there but it was annoying to go through all the screens again

Better than Tax Cut

The easy step process is wonderful. It would be nice if I could find things easier with the search feature. Sometimes I have to try several different phrases to find what I thought would be simple to find.
What's great about it: Intuitive interface
What's not so great: Could be easier to get to where you want to make a change
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Seems to Get Easier Every Year

I really appreciate the continued effort of the writers of Turbo Tax to simplify an extremely difficult tax code and write understandable directions for the many taxpayers who want to do their own tax preparations.
I am not able to compare other companies that sell the same service, but I see no reason to switch to some other tax preparing service because Turbo Tax continues to produce an excellent product. Even with the publicized problems Turbo Tax had this past year, they were able to fix and provide an improved product and service.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax utilizes past years and lets you compare returns.
What's not so great: Seemed to take much longer this year than last year.
