Print & Reporting needs some work

This was the first year in years that we did not itemize because we sold our house and we are in the middle of purchasing a new one.
It would be nice if the Schedule A printed with the work papers even though we took the itemized deduction.
Also, when moving around the software, it asks you questions that have already been asked and answered when going back to check on items.
The gambling wins/losses don't show on the review report. It shows -0-. But is shows as income on the 1040 as it should, and on the work papers for the Schedule A

Federal Good, State Not So Good

Overall good experience with the federal and state return, although I had to do a good review of state return to fix errors before I called it finished.
What's great about it: Easy to fill out federal return - good job!
What's not so great: Pennsylvania state return had lots of errors - Intuit needs to spend more time on testing the state software for bugs
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy funding of government waste

This is about the 25th year of running my taxes with TT. Process is generally easy. Just came back from DC and saw that they are funding maintenance of our government buildings. Very Clean!
Only negative comment is the handling of HSA Form 889. Spent hours researching to handle small item. Next year get it right and get it in the step by step. Fix this for 2015 and you get the 5th star!
Best fact is transfer of all info from year to year. If you know what you are doing and your taxes are somewhat clean, you can do your taxes faster than you can drive to the blockheads.
Love all the electronic filing gizmos. You save on stamps.

OK but Deluxe always needs to include Schedule C

Cons:
1) Hundreds of thousands of us that have some small side income (babysitting, musician, etc.) need Schedule C-EZ or Schedule C for what is typically some very simple, basic gross income and maybe a few deductions. No intricate business here; Intuit needs to give us the functionality in the Deluxe product and not gouge us for a product that we would only use about 10% of (Home and Business.) This year's Deluxe backtracked to give us Step-by-Step for Schedule C, but it only worked for one of the two returns I filed.
2) Why is it so expensive to file State? Should be free or under $10.

I've used TurboTax for years. Having the Step-by-Step view start with a comparison chart to the previous year and enabling me to pick the sections to work on is a huge time-saver.

What's great about it: Being able to pick the sections to work on in Step-by-Step view is really time-saving.
What's not so great: Intuit moving to charging more for schedule C-EZ

Not worth the money

Somehow, the state cost more than the Federal just for the software and even more to file. One state, since almost everyone lives in one, should be included and filling should be at no charge if someone chooses Turbo Tax.
