Taxes are easy!

I have been using TurboTax for about 20 years and I can't imagine doing my taxes any other way. It is simple, thorough, quick, and I don't second guess myself when I click to submit my return.
What's great about it: I like the comparison from the previous tax year. Makes it easy to see if I have made an error or omitted something.
What's not so great: There aren't any as far as I'm concerned.

As painless as humanly possible

Great product, many outstanding features for common tax payer with simple to moderate level of itemized deductions. Liked the addition of value calculator for charitable contributions.
What's great about it: easy pop-up windows with simple, top level info answers most questions - links to additional details included
What's not so great: Did not auto-link to my W-2s

Had a difficult time trying to efile my state return.
Mailed the federal with a check and it seemed to make it impossible to efile the state return.

I have been using TurboTax for serveral years now. It just keeps getting better and better each year. Looking forward to using TurboTax for many years to come.
What's great about it: Ease of use

Unbelievably Positive Experience

Perhaps the best product since the microwave ! I do not exaggerate when I say Turbo Tax has been a life saver the last 4 years. NO more lost sleep, anxiety attacks, heart palpitations, elevated blood pressure.... THE BEST investment for piece of mind I have ever made
What's great about it: Downloading all Tax forms 1098's 1099's w-2's....everything, Retains last year's data.. So easy it's laughable
What's not so great: Paying taxes at all !

Seems like every year that I ask you to add a button on the control bar for "Pause- return later"
Also, at the end when it comes to the TurboTax sign-up page, include a button "Continue - already a member"

Purchase Last Years Tax Return program - No Good

I purchased the 2012 Download desktop edition of TurboTax but had problems with imports. Couldn't file electronically and I keep wondering why did I have to pay so much (more than this years) and it didn't work?
What's great about it: Nice to have electronic file
What's not so great: Didn't work, pulled in all wrong data for this year, no last year.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
