You will continue to be surprised with the fees they throw at you. That's minus the free upgrade I received for chatting with a very helpful, patient representative for more than two hours because I wasn't able to include my health information
What's great about it: Representative
What's not so great: Fees, and the new Health Insurance didn't work
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent Product, only a few navagtion issues

overall very good. Did not give 5 stars as it took 15 min to get to where I had mistakenly entered home office info - thought I had deleted it, was picked up by the review at the end.
Only negative issue with entire process.

What's great about it: Ease of use for newly married female couple, english language instructions - rather than IRSeese
What's not so great: difficult to get back to section where you made an error

i paid an awful lot in taxes this year ... relatively speaking .... i hope you guys were right
What's great about it: imported last years info for fed return
What's not so great: did not import all info for two state returns ...also did not import payment info for intuit payment

IRA confusing

AGI was not accurate when calculating my IRA eligibility and it would allow my wife to deduct for investing in my own IRA, confusing!

I have been using TurboTax for many years now. The 2014 tax year version felt the smoothest thus far.
What's great about it: Easy step by step - simple and straight forward
What's not so great: Going back to edit items done with the EasyGuide takes some hunting

Great help with moving between states!

Turbo Tax was a great help what with us moving to another state for the first time ever! A tax preparation service would have charged so much more, and we would have not been any better off refund/payment wise.
What's great about it: Simplifies something that should never have gotten so out of hand.
What's not so great: Having to pay for a second state. : (

I have been doing my own taxes since I was 16 (39 years) and it has gotten harder and harder. Last year for the first time I used Turbo Tax and got a refund, for the first time in forever. Funny how the IRS is quick to tell you that you own them money but not so quick to return money to you if you make a mistake. And I found out from Turbo Tax that I had been making many. What used to take me weekends now took 4 hours, maximum. Love this product

This years Turbo Tax 2014 was the easiest one to use so far. Every year you improve on how to make it simple for the consumer. I have been using this program for 10 years now and you actually, well almost, make it fun to do your taxes. thank you Turbo Tax, I really, really like you.
What's great about it: Turbo tax helped me to find ways to lower my tax bill. Thank you so much.
