Transition from the Fed. return to State return

Directions for transitioning to the state returns needs specific directions, I pressed the wrong button and my computer froze. Otherwise everything went smoothly.
I had to call a computer expert to assist me in getting out the locked position.

Turbo Tax 2014

I was very impressed with the ease of Turbo Tax. Of course I hate doing taxes, but it was very easy provided you had most of the information required. It was faster and easier than I expected. Well Done Turbo Tax!!
What's great about it: Quicker and easier than I would have imagined
What's not so great: Nothing

Great product but always room for improvement

Turbo Tax is pretty easy to use. The importing functions have come a long way and are getting easier to use. I also like the its deductible feature. Need to work on better terms / descriptions for health care and pension deductions for helping people to decide how to correctly answer questions.
What's great about it: Pretty Dependable, I like to use its deductible
What's not so great: Some Steps in process are spot on while others need better description and auto filling.

complicated trying to efile and pay by credit card

Think e-file and paying by credit card could be a little easier than having to go through several steps that are not very easy. Please check the e-file process for those who are filing the short form. Thank this process could be much easier for those using Turbo-Tax for the first time or those returning.

Simple to use

Overall a really good product, but the cost is getting high. In previous years I have bitten the bullet to pay for state filing, but now that I have income in 2 states, I have to print and file by mail. The high state filing fee times 2 on top of having to pay almost as much for the second state as you do for the combined Fed & State is prohibitive.
What's great about it: Simple to use, clear directions, easy transfer from previous year.
What's not so great: Kind of expensive for State filing and brutally expensive if you have to file 2 state returns.
