Quick and Easy

I've been using Turbo Tax pretty much since the mid '90s with excellent results. Being retired, my requirements for extensive tax prep are quite a bit less than years ago, but I wouldn't use anything else.
This has been, and continues to be, the best tax prep package for an individual or family.
What's great about it: Covered everything I needed

This is my first time going out on my own to do our taxes...we always had an accountant do our previously....using TurboTax was very easy...step by step of simple instructions...and a lot more affordable.....Great program and will definitely be back next year...! Thank you very much....jvsmurfy!

Best for taxes

when it comes to doing your taxes, turbo tax is the easiest to use. I have use turbo tax since the early 2000's. keeps getting better. the only better is a fair tax!!!
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used TT for over 15 years. It has never given me a problem. I love it!
What's great about it: It was easy and I am confident in TurboTax.

Very Simple; Very Easy

I depend on Turbo Tax. It has never let me down. It seems though that there is a desire to increase profits and reduce features over the previous year. The changes to the Deluxe product were a debacle. Please just go back to the way things were or I will leave the tax software I have loved for years
What's great about it: Question/answers much quicker this year
What's not so great: disastisfied with product changes this year for deductions for deluxe product

Great software! Thank you so much for making the 1040 easy to revisit and adjust/correct. This is so much easier than the first ever tax form I completed many years ago. And, then, I didn't have any deductions to compute. That would have been a true headache.
What's great about it: Help screens, immediate calculations, error checking, audit risk evaluation
What's not so great: Can't really think of any - maybe the font is too small for my eyes
