I had to redue my taxes because the system would not let me delete a unwanted form. I already paid for state efile now the system wants me to pay again before I can file my state taxes.
What's not so great: I made a mistake and couldnot delete a unwanted form.

Bug in program

No matter what I input, Turbo Tax would not associate the correct recipient with the 1099. It CONTINUOUSLY kept reverting the individual it choose to attach. Placed call, never received return call. FINALLY, started a new return from scratch. This was the most difficult filing I have ever had with Turbo Tax & I have been doing taxes for 30+ years. The program is not "intuitive" at all...what a mess & many, many hours of frustration.
What's not so great: 1099 did not attach to the correct recipient

I have used Turbo Tax for 6+ years now and I always feel like I have done a complete job, and I don't worry aboput forgetting to include or complete something.
What's great about it: It walks me thru the process and I feel confident that I completed everything

I've been using turbo tax for years. We have a fairly simple return, even though we itemize. I can't image paying hundreds of dollars when turbo tax make it easy for me. It imports my past return, and because I have minimal changes from the prior year, I can do my taxes in a day. Thanks Turbo Tax for empowering me.
What's great about it: affordable and helpful
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2014 returns

This year seemed much more difficult to follow. don't know if it was due to this being my first year 100% retired or just new IRS questions. Oh well, I got thru it!!
