Mixed feelings

Stop taking features away that were there the year before. It's like other companies that make the size of their product smaller with less content but either keep the price the same or raise the price too.

What's great about it: I did like the automated system that did the calculations
What's not so great: I had more questions after reading the answers that made me have more questions that weren't really answered.

Family friend for life!

Our military family has used Turbo Tax for many, many years both State-side and overseas. From combat to kids, military retirement to a new career, Turbo Tax is a trusted friend that takes the stress out of tax time. Thanks Turbo Tax!!

What's great about it: Turbo tax filled in all my info from last year. Ask questions that no accountant has ever ask me to help me save money.
What's not so great: A little hard to figure out the deductions on investments and retirement funds.

Too Much Time!

Turbo unexceptionally stopped when I was doing my taxes, and it did not take me back to that point! Had to start over! so, it does have its' flaws.
What's great about it: Covers all the steps with a good explanation.
What's not so great: Can stop unexpectedly, and not resume in the same place.

Quick and Easy!

All worked well except the Print/Save for your Records process generates 2 choices: Print and Save a PDF. Print generates a print review and returns to the same panel. Save a PDF works and returns to the same panel. Neither one allows printing the forms.
I seem to remember the same thing happened last year.

What's great about it: Quite easy considering all the annual changes.
What's not so great: Didn't like the finish process. Too many unnecessary choices.

Screwed up my entire filling Process

I bought this software as I have for several years in the past thinking I would have a pleasant experience in completing and e-filing my tax returns. Was I ever surprised. I continually had problems trying to log into It's Deductible online using Internet Explorer. I had to switch to Firefox to access that online program. I could not log directly into Intuit.com using my logon Id and password since it kept sending me to a screen telling me that I had to download IE, Firefox or Chrome to continue. Those were already on the computer and website would not allow me to continue until I complied which was not possible since the programs already existed. I tried to use the e-file I had paid for and the software kept repeatedly going back to the review cycle and would not let me get to the final e-file screen to complete the process.
What's great about it: I Liked that the software prompted me for all the entries I needed to make
What's not so great: The Deluxe software kept going around in circles when I tried to e-file.

Needs a tweak

I've been using TT since the late 1990s, so I'm pleased, overall, with the product. However, somehow, my 2013 returns were nowhere on my computer or saved in TurboTax. Is it possible that prior saved returns are deleted when you go back to a prior year or an already completed/filed return and answer NO to the question, "Do you want to save this file?" The file has already been saved...there are no changes, no edits - why would a simple look-back require another SAVE without a warning stating without the SAVE all info will be lost, despite numerous SAVES in the past? This is the only explanation I can come up with to explain a lost file. So, beware, when looking back on returns.
What's great about it: User friendly; covers all needs for simple filers; good for homeowners
What's not so great: If "Enter" can be used instead of moving cursor to "Next" or "Done" please say so - if not, why can't ENTER suffice?
