I found the program easy to use. The questions easy to comprehend.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow
What's not so great: Should be able to access some publications for further explanation.

TT was very comprehensive but I'd like a little more freedom to navigate myself.
For those retiring in the next few years, it would really be nice to have a estimator of what tax would be in a couple other states. As a Californian with children in Colorado & South Carolina, it would be nice to see approximately what my tax would be if I transferred near to one of my children & the grandkids.
What's great about it: Comprehensive

My #1 Tax Preparer

TurboTax always provides the simplest and most detailed option for my annual "Hate To Do Job!" Have had four successful IRS audits where TurboTax was a blessing - never had to call in the troops. Any mistakes made were mine. THANKS!
What's great about it: Have used TurboTax for 35 years - would not do them ANY other way!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Better than Quicken

Obviously Intuit puts a lot more time and effort into Turbo Tax than it does Quicken. The program was easy to use. I used the step-by-step method, but wish I had explored myself. I had to go through a lot of "no" answers for things that did not apply to me. I would have liked to have a list with the default set as "no" and I could go through and selected the thing that applied. There could be a box next to each item to "explain more." Oh, well.
I found it frustrating to have to answer questions I had already answered when I needed to go back to check something.
All-in-all I'm fairly confident that my return was correctly processed.
What's great about it: Pretty Easy
What's not so great: You can't always find (or see) what your looking for.

Easy File

The program is logical and easy to use. The time required is much less then doing the written forms. I've used other software and this, by far, is better.
What's great about it: Ease of Use; Saving Time
What's not so great: State efile should be in the origina purchase price

No Sweat Preparation

I have used TurboTax for over 10 years and it keeps getting easier to use. Software is easy to follow and has great explanations/directions if preparer needs any help! I will continue to use TurboTax Software!
What's great about it: easy to follow prompts / explanations

If I knew it was this easy, I might not have paid someone else a lot more than I paid for the software to do my return last year.
