What's great about it: Ease of use.
What's not so great: unable to change preference in either mail or e-file preference once taken initial steps to file.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Poor correction processing

Had 1099 Misc for opening new checking account. Originally showed up looking like I had a business. Changed to "Incentive" yet would not correct in flow to state module. Gave up and just submitted state with error. Time to return to H&R software

What's great about it: T/T COVERS ALL THE DETAILS
What's not so great: COST OF EXTRA STATE RETURNS & E- FILING THEM TOO COSTLY

Overall, TurboTax has been very good for me over many years of using the software. I will have a significant change in income in 2015 and will not be using TurboTax because of the expense, but should my income increase again, I will be back using the software.
What's great about it: Ease of following process step by step
What's not so great: Difficult to find info on item that was skipped previously
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Year After Year

I come back from a 3-mo vacation just before tax filing deadline and I don't sweat it because I got TurboTax! Year after year TurboTax has done the job for me.
What's great about it: Simplicity in tax preparations
What's not so great: enhance electronic transfer of tax data from revenue sources
