This product continues to provide ease of use and simplicity. Having the written format side by side as you enter data would make it perfect!
Always a pleasure, if doing taxes can be pleasurable.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Can't easily see the forms in format you do when doing by hand.

Very good experience. Have used Turbo Tax many times in the past and still is a good way to handle ones taxes.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow instructions regarding entering information
What's not so great: Not really anything that I did not figure out

Good for ez filing

If you don't have a lot it makes filing easy and less expansive than going to an accountant or other tax places. NOt sure it's very helpful with other deductions you might be entitled to.

Could not eFile MA return because Federal ID# was missing even though only Medicare insurance only was checked and also "NO form HC checked.

First Efiles!

I was not planning to actually e-file my Taxes, but just print them and mail them. I have been doing my Taxes myself for over 50 years and mailing then April 15th!
This year I use Turbo-Tax-Deluxe with State. It appeared I may needed to e-file my NYS tax, but I was going to mail my Fed.
As I just went thru the process, I decided to go ahead and e-file both! I wasn't sure if they would go thru, as I could not download my W2s..etc..but just entered my data. As a recently retired Fed . employee, I could not get into the National Finance System that regular employees can. I thought that next year I would be able to just use my 1099R.
As I just retired in the middle of the year, have 2 houses-in 2 States, and have 2 kids That we help in College, I was thinking of getting a consultant to review-help with taxes this year. With Turbo-Tax--I felt I didn'y need a consultant.
Anyway, I am hoping that the returns will be accepted now.....Up to 48 hours I quess. I will be watching my email!
Overall---excellent experience, ( once I got the missing StateFile)!!!
What's great about it: The Step by Step Guidance makes it easy.
What's not so great: Needed to call to get my free State files with Deluxe----but once I agtually spoke with Tech was easy!--and free.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Year after Year Performance!!

I've been using Turbo Tax for some time now.
I also use quicken for every penny in my life. The pair work very well and make tax time a little better to handle when doing things on your own. I'd recommend to anyone who is willing to do their own taxes.
