Navigation around the program

I found it very difficult this year, compared to other years, to go away from the program prompted questions and then return to the right spot. I also ran into several questions that had double negatives which made it very hard to know if I was answering correctly. This is not reassuring in a program.
What's great about it: I like how it walks me through everything
What's not so great: Navigation was more difficult then in previous years

Turbo Tax makes filing easy

I have been using Turbo Tax for the last several years. Of course I don't have a complicated return, but TT makes it convenient and easy to complete and file.
What's great about it: Easy menu driven questions
What's not so great: Help tips are vague

1095 - A problems only

it is a very simple program and can be used by anyone. I would have liked better answers for form 1095-A. i like how it brings over prior year information. I would like it to make more recommendations for the future.
What's great about it: easy to go through questions and make changes if necessary
What's not so great: new issues with form 1095-A and not sure what to do with very little instruction from anyone.

Easy Taxes

This is way too easy. Anyone can follow the instructions. I've been doing my taxes for many years but I'm sure anybody can do this.
What's great about it: Easy to follow. Can go back to correct error or missing info.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great... except for kiddie tax

Have used Turbotax for years with great success. It just keeps getting better and better. However, this year I had to do the calculations for kiddie tax on my children's returns. Absolutely impossible to understand what information to get and how to find it. Capital gain, net capital gain, qualified div., net qual... all refer to worksheets and line references with no indication of where to find them. Even locating what appears to be the correct worksheet doesn't help... still can't find what is being asked for. Hopeless. Someone should fix this part of the program.
What's great about it: quick and relatively easy
What's not so great: indecipherable instructions for forms for kiddie tax
