The Michigan program with regard to retired folks born prior to 1946 needs work. It is not seamless like the rest of the program. Too much self initiated research is required.

smooth and consistant

Turbo tax since its inception has been smooth and redundant . No great innovation just consistently good for what it offers. NIce to see they no longer charge to file federal return. When you buy a product you generally do not except to be charged twice. As in here the cost of the product plus we are going to charge you to file also

What's not so great: can be tedious

So easy anyone can do it. Resources available if you have questions. Why anyone would pay an accountant to do taxes when there is turbo tax is beyond me.

Had trouble trying to pay for PA state return on Intuit. Multiple attempts - could not find password. Would not accept name of my first pet. Called number on turbo tax (877-599-8824) and spoke with Chad in Calif around 10:15 pm eastern time on 4/12/15. Even though I waited a full 60 minutes before anyone answered, Chad listened to my frustration and graciously gave me the PA return cost free of charge. Did not expect that. Very nice for the trouble I had with Intuit and the long wait for someone to answer. Thank you.
