I have been using Turbo Tax for many years with great success! Several years ago I tried a, "wana be" Turbo Tax product but came back the next year and have been using Turbo Tax ever since. It's the easiest and best tax software out there and you can take my word for it. I've been doing my own taxes since I was 16 years old....................well over 40 years!
What's great about it: Easy...just answer the questions.
What's not so great: Missed the comparison to the rest of the country.

ok overall with one big disappointment

The package works as advertised and is speedy. It is nice to get the year over year comparison to help know that things are complete.
Each year I am a little more disappointed. This year I tried to enter a new expense. It let me do it. But, it wouldn't let me move on to the next section. It kept saying I hadn't entered the personal information. The package had entered it from the year before's information. It took me many hours to figure this out. I finally removed the expense and it went through. I should have been told that the expense wasn't allowed rather than what is a cryptic and erroneous error message.
What's great about it: Fast to go through screens ; great for year after year and pulling past information
What's not so great: Didn't get one part right; error message useless; help unavailable

This was very fast and easy. I always feel confident when I do my returns. It would be nice if I could access previous returns from other computers though so I can access the important information where ever whenever.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Can't access previous returns online, has to be from same computer completed on
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Outstanding Product

I've been using TurboTax since shortly after it was introduced, if not the first year it was introduced. Never any problems using it, Help was always a click or phone call away. Will continue to use TurboTax until the time I no longer have to file.
What's great about it: Ease of Use

Seemed to go smoothly

Other than the mixup of whether or not this edition would have everything the last year Turbo Tax had, it seemed to go very smoothly for me.
What's great about it: When you do not have a lot to report, it's easy to do.
What's not so great: Not sure I understood all the information asked of me

Overall pretty dismal

Hard to trust even the federal filing because I'm never sure that the RITA entries are right. Have completed at least one return for the past 6 years with RITA and each year it's complicated, confusing and put together very poorly. Have done it once on RITA's site and would every year, but it has trouble handling the volume and then question whether I would get the right deduction for it on the federal return.
Disappointing.

What's great about it: Federal process was okay
What's not so great: Ohio State and RITA filing full of problems and overly complicated
