Easiest way to do Taxes

I like that there are explanations for items that I am unclear on. Being able to walk through all the items for each income/deduction, etc is great. I have learned that there are more items I can deduct because of Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: My information is uploaded from last year
What's not so great: Needs to be more clearly stated that State filing is extra.

Love Turbotax

I consider our taxes to be moderately complex - with 3 kids, childcare expenses, own a home, pension withdrawal, clergy income, housing allowance offset, student loan payments, charitable contributions, occasionally business expenses. TurboTax fully meets my needs. The walk-through questionnaire style of the software simplifies the tax code and automatically fills out the forms. I am a finance professional so I like to review the tax code on complex issues and most times the help function in TurboTax is more than sufficient. The clergy income and housing allowance offset guidance in turbotax has improved over the past 3-4 years. It used to be very vague and this year had a very clear procedures on how to utilize the housing allowance on business income versus w-2 wage income. I felt confident in the tax preparation work and I saved the backup documentation in my files if I ever needed to reference the methodology and guidance. TurboTax meets the needs once again!
What's great about it: Ease of use; backup tax code references, quick and easy search function
What's not so great: Can't identify any
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Really walk in the park . Used Turbo tax for as long as it has been out. Never a problem,
What's great about it: Feel Confident trhat Turbo Tax has worked forms with IRS and it is easy to use.
What's not so great: None so far!

Have used many years and appreciate not having to pencil out the work sheets as I did previously. By and large this is a great way to prepare your return.
What's great about it: Easy to input data and go back to areas to double check or change.
What's not so great: Didn't transfer from 2013 to 2014 as it did formerly. Explanations could be more complete.

Simple and easy

Much less time consuming than having returns prepared in an office setting, when the return is simple with limited income sources and deductions. Would like to have a checklist upon sign in, to get all possible documents gathered ahead of time.

Turbotax is the best, I have used it for several years now and my results are very consistent and the process couldn't be any easier. I like how it shows previous years info so you can compare it to current year. I will keep using it as long as I am able to or no longer need it.
What's great about it: The Step by Step process.
What's not so great: Should include free state e-filing.
