I prefer to take my time with taxes instead of trying to have everything ready for the preparer in a one hour sitting. Turbo tax allows me to do that. I have been using it for over 10 years and it works well every time. It just keeps getting better.
What's not so great: was not able to get into Business expenses on my car until final review.

Easy to Follow

I have been using TurboTax for probably ten years and it beats doing by hand and using the tax instructions.
What's great about it: User friendly from start to finish. Incorporates previous data. Can do more than one return for other family members.
What's not so great: Have to pay for State e-mail return.

TurboTax Confusion

If I had not used Turbotax in previous years, I would have switched this year. The new products and new bundling options were confusing and turned out to be very expensive - I had to purchase my state separately and then pay to file it as well. Next year, I will look into other products before automatically buying Turbotax as I did this year.
What's great about it: Still easy to use, still nicely laid out and continues to double check for errors
What's not so great: Very confusing product availability this year.

TTax 2014

Bugs: it would not "forget" a state used in 2013, would not download a new state (DE), and could not e-file DE.
What's great about it: Very thorough process, remembered last year, accuracy guarantee
