Good product, I've been a user for the last 15 years.

What's not so great: Some times asks too many questions to get you through a topic you don't need to address

Two problems

We used Turbo Tax in the past several years successfully. This year was a very frustrating experience. Two problems came up when we were doing our taxes on April 11. One, the program would not allow us to enter information for two K-1 forms. Instead it sent us to the internet to download something. Second, under Miscellaneous Income, we entered an amount and a description but could not get that information to load on our 1040. Very frustrating, and we may be looking for another tax preparation package.

Too many problems

I get interest from the same banks each year, but I couldn't figure out how to transfer the bank information from last year, so I had to enter the name of each bank again. Also, it would be nice if they had a "What if" analysis that calculated the tax savings for an IRA contribution, so that I could determine the benefit of an IRA contribution. Finally, I felt uneasy towards the end of the process - that I would make a mistake that couldn't be rectified.

Two filers lived in State 1 and worked in State 2

It is not readily apparent that one must add a "second" state in order to enter the information for the second period that Lived in State 1 and worked in State 2.
What's great about it: That there is a vehicle for this
What's not so great: That how to use the vehicle is unclear

I have been using TURBOTAX since it was first offered and have had no problems with filling out the forms or have ever been concerned about being audited.
It is simple and has answered any questions that I have had.
