I love how easy TurboTax is to use. My situation is simple, I get 1 W2, I haven't moved so this makes the most sense for me. Thanks for having a great service available.
I wish you would have cost to efile state up front, so I could make a more informed decision before clicking through.

Go Turbotax

Turbo Tax software was easier than I thought it would be. I had it walk me thru everything so I did not make a mistake. I did it over several days after work because it is intense and as I said I did not want to rush thru and transpose numbers etc did I want to make a single mistake.
What's great about it: easy , software friendly, not intimidating.
What's not so great: I thought I was buying the state with the price of the Federal. Not. Had to purchase separatly when I clicked on state .

Overall I would recommend Turbo Tax to everyone!
What's great about it: very easy to use
What's not so great: I have been using Turbo Tax for the past several years, NEVER have I gotten a free state filing.

have used for many years and will continue as long as it is a step by step procedure. otherwise pretty easy and it helps me get back for what i deserve!! and i work for the government so i know how they work
What's great about it: very easy to follow
What's not so great: alot of new issues, but thats the government

Find my Bank account # and tracking # 4 my savings

Please this bout 4th time I am submitting my file, I just had to find my Bank account number cause banking id done bt cards with direct deposit to my account and I was trying to use my Father's checking account. Thank you. Intuit please pass this on to IRS. Thank you. WAK.
What's great about it: Cool, but hard.
What's not so great: May it more simple for younger generation.

Unable to File Electronically in Error

I was unable to figure out why or how spouse and I where determined to live in different jurisdictions. Turbo did not show such evidence nor showed how we could change results if not true.
What's not so great: Turbo some recorded spouse and I lived in different jurisdictions and was unable to file electronically.

Longer than expected

Overall, this is a great product. I've used it every year since I've been doing taxes and normally don't have any problems. This year was a little different. I have been the only one to use this, I installed and went to work as soon as I got it. Was under the impression I would be able to file both for free..not the case. Federal filing was free, but state filing was not. I'm not sure why that's the case, being that I'm given one free state filing. Not a happy camper this year.
What's great about it: Easy, Understandable
What's not so great: No Free State File
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
