Simple and Accurate

I've used Turbo Tax for over 10 years because it's simple and you can easily import prior years information. Price has continued to increase and this year features and functionality of the Deluxe version has been reduced. I'm going to have to try alternatives next year and probably have to re-type this years information. Hate to see such a good product change in ways that seem to ignore customer needs in exchange for additional profit.
What's great about it: Quick and accurate always.
What's not so great: Getting too expensive, price always goes up and features reduced.

Good Product, Needs a Few fixes

Overall, a good product I have used for years. Loading last year's info saves a ton of time! One challenge I had twice. After completing my first draft I located one additional charitable donation and state deduction. It was a challenge to go back and find the spot to make the change/add in the new item. I had to click through all the pages until I found it. Other than that, it went smoothly and I am very pleased. I do struggle with the State electronic filing fee (not a Turbo Tax issue I realize). Online filing has got to be easier for the state than a paper submission, the fee is unwarranted.
What's great about it: Simple, easy options for choosing which sections you want to get into detail.
What's not so great: Challenging to go back and find where to make a change.

Harder to use

I found this years TurboTax harder to use than in the past editions. Harder to navigate around, harder to get back to a form. Put information in that I didn't put it.
Filed state form, needed my credit card information. My program included free filing for one time. I hope that it did not charge me. Did not see anything that allows me to claim my free return.
Based upon this years program compared to previous years, I will not return to TurboTax. Your program has gone downhill.
Hope you can improve your programing.

Found All My Deductions

I wish I could have been able to see a list all the categories of medical expenses before completing each one, because I had to go back and amend some because I wasn't sure which category an expense belonged in. Other than that minor inconvenience, the procee went smoothly.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions were easy to follow
What's not so great: Too many steps that didn't apply to me

Turbo Tax makes it easy.

Some people dread this time of year because filing taxes can be confusing and time consuming. With Turbo Tax, you just follow the prompts and it goes quickly.. I have been using this program for about 10 years. Turbo also asks questions that can get you credit for deductions you never knew about. E-filing couldn't be easier, and direct deposit speeds things up. All in all, a painless experience.
What's great about it: Everything is user friendly and easy to understand.
What's not so great: none
