2014 TTAX Experience

Problem paying fee for efile of state delayed process by > 1 hour.
What's great about it: Very efficient & intuitive.
What's not so great: Link did not work when having to pay by cc to efile my state.

What's great about it: Lot of Integration across multiple Banks
What's not so great: Need to improve Integration and tighter controls
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Use this product every year! Love the way I can skip sections I know don't apply to me or go thru each area step by step if I choose. Easy to use and easy to file. Wish it was a little cheaper to file State returns electronically - but I usually file my State return as a paper form. I wish the 1009-R gave a little more info - not necessarily Turbo Tax's fault but I wasn't sure what state (postal code) to use as my agent is in one state but my paperwork comes from another state. Love that I can do more that one return for the money so I'm willing to take the hit on not being able to file State for free but wish there were the option to file one federal and one state free instead.
What's great about it: Easy to use, provides great info
What's not so great: Investments

Overall our turbo tax experience was great! Although we have to pay taxes, we were able to do them ourselves without having to pay an accountant, and file with a low risk of an audit.
What's great about it: Easy to use, consumer friendly, exellent explinations.
What's not so great: Could offer more suggestions for those who owe taxes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

easy to use, answers all my questions when in doubt for a deduction. i have used this program for many years. and have not had an issue. great product!
What's great about it: easy, through, and really answers questions regarding new tax laws
What's not so great: really doesn't like you to skip around to complete
