Excellent Tax Prep Software

I don't believe there is a better tax prep software than TurboTax!
What's great about it: Still Windows XP Compatible
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love the fact that no matter what type of different things have happened throughout the year I can count on Turbo Tax to have me covered on how to handle the tax effect.

Good, but new version one issue

The new version only allows me to save to your cloud. Prior to this the returns were saved on my computer. I know having the cloud is a safety feature however I like having quick access on my machine

My TurboTax Ride

The thing I like the most is that I can work on the return, come back and make changes very easily. I am not fit into a box and can tailor my return to what has transpired in the current tax year.
What's great about it: Every step is covered o I don't miss anything.
What's not so great: I had to pay the fed this year but it all washes out

Good, not Stellar, product

Many state questions were not clear on what they were asking. Mortgage interest entry was not clear on what account each item was for.
What's great about it: Did the job
What's not so great: Many questions weren't clear, with no tool tips or help.

convenient, but flawed

used the product for several years with a high degree of accuracy. This year there is an error in the software and I'm surprised it has not been corrected by this time.

2014 Software Poor Performance

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and this years version did not perform very well. Granted the software is easy to use and provides helpful explanations of the various tax topics, but the software crashed very frequently this year. This year was a poor version of the software architecture.
What's great about it: The software is easy to use and takes you through everything step by step
What's not so great: The software crashed a lot, especially after updates.
