Another Outstanding Experience

Repeat user... outstanding program, all you need are copies of the important documents; some are available for e-loading; easy to use; thorough; checks for errors, helps correct them; I'll definitely use the program again next year... thank you for a great product and tax filing experience...

Is this worth it?

I'm really starting to wonder if TurboTax is worth the money. For years, now, it has been unable to import data from previous years' returns, even though they are there on my hard drive. When I have TT 2014 open, all the other years are greyed out. Only when I close TT, are they accessible. So, I have to type every single piece of information in. There doesn't seem to be any online help, just a sort of crowd sourcing where you submit a question and hope for an answer. I didn't get one. Maybe the extra hour or two it would take to do my taxes by hand wouldn't be so bad...
I also won't import my W4, but that may be my employer's fault.

Turbo Tax is user friendly & asks all the right questions to give individuals a professional grade tool to handle their taxes

Easy to follow instructions

Have used TurboTax since its inception and found it getting better with age.
What's great about it: Don't have to be a rocket scientist
What's not so great: Having to pay my taxes not the fault of TurboTax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Easier to follow directions
What's not so great: at times difficulty transmitting e-file and payments; this is very frustrating!

Works Great!

I've been using TurboTax each year since 1996 and have always had an easy time preparing my taxes. Even when I purchased a new home and owned a business, my tax returns were quick and easy using TurboTax. I would highly recommend TurboTax to anyone.
What's great about it: Fast, easy and accurate

Every year the same info is automatically transferred to my new Turbo Tax.
I just enter the new years numbers and walk through the program & done....

should be made a little more user friendly for senior citizens- calculations great but takes a while to figure out the first time
What's great about it: gets filed right away dont have to worry about mail
What's not so great: seems repititious in many areas
