Saved some heartache

I wouldn't think of doing my taxes without TurboTax. Used it several years, did not one year. That's a mistake I won't make again.
What's great about it: the "interview" works well
What's not so great: my 22" monitor does not show all of the icons on the bottom of the page

Easy as Pie

I have been using Turbo Tax for quite a few years now. When I first starting using this program it didn't seem real user friendly, but as the years have gone by it has gotten easier and easier. The 2014 edition has been the easiest yet. Didn't have to wait to down load the state taxes, i guess they downloaded when installing the program.
I can't imagine what improvements could possibly be made for the 2015 edition. Just have to wait and see.
What's great about it: Very user friendly
What's not so great: can't think of any

QUICK AND PAINLESS

Turbo Tax is easy to use and walks you through step by step (for newbies) or you can navigate on your own (Pros). Took less than an hour from Install to Finish! Thanks, Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: The program walks you through step by step with ease!
What's not so great: Paying a fee for the State submission.

We've used Turbo Tax for years but now having to pay for state filings when one was supposed to be included, we'll try a different product next year!
What's not so great: I thought a free state filing ment free?
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Bungled PR

Took features out of Deluxe, without notification, and didn't think anyone would notice??!! The worst PR move since...I can't think of a worse one. I'll be switching to any other tax product that I can find.

Everything Good

Seems if you want to mail your forms it is a hassle to get them printed. This time I had to download adobe software. Also when purchasing I wasn't sure if the Deluxe would do the few dividend reports if needed. Final went with it and not the next step up.
What's great about it: I like the way it brings last year into this year.
What's not so great: I always seem to have problems printing out the final document
