Love Turbo Tax!

I've used Turbo Tax for more than 10 years. I've never had an inaccuracy or an audit. Love the auto update feature for forms and rules, I never have to worry about being up to date with all the changes. Wish there was more guidance with regards to areas that are unusual or not common, taxes are crazy complicated and if there is a way to make them easier that would be great!
What's great about it: Easy and Thorough
What's not so great: Some areas could be better explained

Love My Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for years. It's a great product. The last time I had a tax preparer do my return, he miss a large deductible. Had I not known about this item, I would have lost two grand. I'm also comfortable with the navigation. It hasn't changed much over the past few years. This means I can concentrate on preparing my taxes, not relearning some new hot dog programmers screen format.
What's great about it: Easy to use, lots of help, intuitive, leads me by the hand if I'm unsure.
What's not so great: The intuit payment screens are too small. I'm an old man with poor vision. I had to use a magnifying glass.

Paid Our 1st Tax

This is our first time using Turbo Tax & we have a little hard time doing it. Just like looking where will I input my husband SSA retirement but eventually I found it
What's great about it: Can ask question at the same time
What's not so great: Need to learn more about the processing

Overall I love using Turbo Tax. This year I started by entering information online. Then I bought the software. It was extremely difficult to transfer the information and get my form filed.
What's great about it: great results overall
What's not so great: Went from online to purchased software very difficult

Love Turbo Tax!

I have used TurboTax for our family taxes for over 20 years. The process is always time and cost-effective. The program is a breeze to navigate and it holds your hand all the way through if you are unsure. From importing prior year data straight through to fast online filing, TurboTax takes all the pain out of preparing and filing our taxes....except the pain of owing additional taxes, but, hey, there's only so much they can do.
I highly recommend TurboTax. We've never been disappointed in all these years.

I've used TurboTax for years and so has my son. I find it asks lots of questions and gives advice when I need it.

Make easier to review/modify please!!

Hard to predict what the final return will look like - you have to pay before you can save or print a copy of your return. If you've made a mistake and want to change, it's already too late and you'll have to file an amended return. This needs to be fixed!!

What's not so great: Can't review whole return till ready to submit

TT: A Simplicated Program

It seems the mechanics of the program are at odds with the logictics of it. ie: when I sort all my raw data into logical groups, the program seems to request different parts of each group at different times. This makes me continually move from group to group and back again and again. This also makes me wonder what I might have missed.
There is a little more but I'm too tired to continue & TT still does what it does very well. (I just E-filed both) & I'm going to bed. :=P
What's great about it: The "GUIDE ME THROUGH IT" ends up putting everything where it needs to go by the time you're done.
What's not so great: The "GUIDE ME THROUGH IT" doesn't always put what I want where I want when I want it.
