Poor Tranistion from online to Purchased

This year I was able to print the whole file. Last year with online TurboTax I could not print the whole document wasn't sure why.

I like the fact that all my information transfers from year to year making the process of filing very speedy. You also can compare on the federal to the previous year. I wish the state return offered the same comparision. I have been a long time user but now I have to file for two states. The cost of an additional state plus the cost to e-file two states was too much money. It will be cheaper for me pay someone do my fairly basic taxes next year. Lesson learned!
What's great about it: Speedy to use year after year
What's not so great: Got too expensive
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Frustrating this year!

After many years of Turbo Tax use, this year was the first where I had problems with the forms listed above. Turbo Tax was telling me that I had to upgrade from Deluxe to Premier. I wasn't happy about that, however, I tried to upgrade on line and all I got was a message that Intuit was having troubles doing it that way. I did not want to start from scratch and pay the full price for Premier so I blew it off.
Also....when I went to e-file both federal and state returns the upper half of the screens had a message that there was an internet problem and the program couldn't display the information properly. However, I could see the lower half of the screens and saw that the e-file button had been selected so I continued. The transfer of both federal and state returns was successful despite this problem.
What's great about it: Easy to follow as usual
What's not so great: Ran into problems with 1099-B and 8949 forms

Why Did I Pay for Turbo Tax this year!!!!!

I have used Turbo Tax for five years and this year was a disaster! you did not fix all of the bugs and I had to waste hours entering all of the information from last years return that usually transfers. I would think that you would have competent designers that would review a product and make sure it's bug proof before you put it on the market. I THINK I DESERVE A REFUND FOR THE HEADACHES! Not certain what I will do next year.
What's great about it: I could send it online!
What's not so great: 3/4 of my information from last year did not transfer.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and have never had any problems. It is my preferred tax preparation software.

Everything went great but would not allow me to efile. Kept saying internet connection was out but it wasn't cause I can submit this review and surf the internet as we speak. Have to mail by returns; very frustrating!
What's great about it: Quick and easy.
What's not so great: Some sections are confusing.

Turbotax Mania

In my opinion Turbo Tax is a fantastic aid in doing the Federal and State Taxes. The format is well presented and easy to follow. The hard part is to have all records needed on hand.as required for entry as the material is brought up during the sequence prompts as required.
I have had very successful results with all my tax returns with both the Federal and State and have gotten very confident in using the Turbo Tax Programs.
What's great about it: I have used Turbo Tax since their beginnings, I really like the developing technique for completing the tax routine.
What's not so great: The computer world has gotten so sophisticated now that it has become more difficult to keep everything under control,
