Peace of mind

I use this to file my mother's tax returns. TurboTax has made it SO easy over the years. I almost forgot to file this year, but once I sat down and opened the program I had done federal and one state in less than an hour. I have every confidence in the program--thank you.
What's great about it: Easy to follow; thorough; plain English; good explanations

Good Software But Beware of Bugs

I have never been able to e-file my taxes using TurboTax. Why? Beats me! There's always a minor bug or error message somewhere that prevents it. This happened to my husband and I filing a joint return as well as to my son who used the Basic Program to file a single return. None of us were able to e-file our Federal or State taxes -- last year or this year -- using TurboTax.
What's great about it: Accurate and easy to use software.
What's not so great: There is ALWAYS a tiny bug that prevents a perfectly smooth experience

Continue to Excel

TurboTax continues to be my choice for Tax Prep software. I still haven't taken the plunge to use your web based service yet. Something about having the ability to generate and save all the files on my network still appeals to me. I know Cloud is the future, just not right now.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, imports previous years information easily
What's not so great: None to think of at the moment

I TOOK MY TIME, SEARCHED DOCUMENTS WHEN I DIDN'T HAVE THEM AND FINISHED IB 6 HOURS WHILE DOING WASH TOO!

Easy As Pie!

I have used this program for several years. They make it easy. You have all the help you need at your fingertips. If you need to ask a question, you can. I have always been able to find the answer. I love how it will figure the best way to do your deductions so you can get the best return.
What's great about it: I appreciate the way it helps you through it and lets you ask questions if you're not sure about something.
What's not so great: The only issue is that it takes a lot of time to go through it all.

Easy as pie!

I like using this a lot!!! Just confusing when on the state and it told me I forgot to fill in last years state refund on the federal, I had a hard time finding where to put it.
What's great about it: Easy directions
What's not so great: Alittle confusing to go back to give information

I ALWAYS GO TO A TAX PREPARER AND THIS YEAR I TRIED TURBO TAX - I'LL NEVER GO BACK. SO EASY YET COMPLETE.
What's great about it: SO THOROUGH AND EASILY UNDERSTOOD!!
