Makes it less painful!

Makes a very painful process more tolerable, and helps you feel confident that you have captured everything that is required and it will be submitted properly. It is SO worth the money! Well done!
What's great about it: The interview approach is easy to understand and gives you confidence that you are doing it right.

TurboTax makes it very simple to enter all of your data,link to recorded donations both cash and item, review everything and file. I have complete confidence in the accuracy of the guidance and that all information is current.

NO MATH SKILLS NEEDED

ONE THING THAT DRIVES ME NUTS IS WHEN YOU GO TO PUT A NUMBER IN A CATEGORY AND THE LITTLE POP-UP MENU COMES UP AND THE DOLLAR AMOUNT ERASES THE TITLE FOR THAT COST. IS THERE A WAY TO BRING THE POP-UP MENU UP BEFORE YOU START PUTTING COSTS IN?
What's great about it: REMINDS ME OF THINGS I MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN
What's not so great: WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A CALCULATOR AVAILABLE IN PROGRAM

Have used TurboTax for years. Each year gets faster and easier as the process is simplified but maintains great accuracy.
What's great about it: Ran right through with simple instructions and ongoing calculations.

Overall still the best way to file.
But you Intuit tax experts MUST address pre-2011-1099k AND 1st-year partial RMD IRA monies! Both matters required too much research on my own.

What's great about it: Love electronic filing
What's not so great: TurboTax Deluxe does not handle 1099-K or partial year RMD issues

Disappointed over last years program.

In years past when filing taxes for my two sisters and son we were able to complete AL state form 40 and print out to file. Not able to do so in this year's program. Very Disappointing as we (sisters and I) are seniors 70+ and chose Turbo Tax in past for ease in doing our own taxes. Please reconsider and go back to allow this feature.
What's great about it: Transfer of information from previous years
What's not so great: Difficulty in getting info on health care portion and failure to get additional AL state forms processed.
