Absolutely love the way the program walks you through the questions and supplies more information to click on to investigate scenarios when you might be uncertain.

Overall, gets the job done for us.

What's not so great: Lacks the ability to interact like a tax person

the state fee is the only sore spot with me. there is no cut off date for free state filing on the outside packaging. I was expecting a free filing for CA but it wasn't until the very end of the filing process that a fee is mentioned. Turbo Tax needs to be more transparent about fees on the packaging and in the beginning of the program.

The "view details" were very helpful to determine if I needed to deal with an item or just skip and move on. I've been using Turbo Tax for 10 years and it guides me thur even with the life changes during that time.

Several areas very difficult to use.

I found it to be convenient, but at times frustrating. I could have used more information/background regarding the retirement income.
What's great about it: Adequate but not impressive.
What's not so great: Lacked explination in several critical areas.

I will not go to a CPA, I can sit at my computer and do this as my info comes in.
What's great about it: Input info hit save and resume anytime.
What's not so great: NONE!
