What's great about it: good quiestions and smooth
What's not so great: You have to pay twice for state. Once to get the return done and then again to efile!!! Ridiculous

Why Not?

I have been using Turbo Tax the early 90's and it has saved me much anguish and time doing my taxes. I always look forward to doing my taxes, since I use Turbo Tax. Soooo Easy to use and fill out. Yes, the very first time you have to enter all of your information about self, but after that the next years are a breeze. The best part is that the for the years most of your tax info is already in for income and deductions. There are easy to follow instructions and help while doing your taxes.
What's great about it: Using Turbo Tax is so easy and just guides you through everything you should do to complete your taxes.
What's not so great: I cannot think of anything that was bad

The Turbo tax software, become user friendly, but some part of the program from Delux was eliminated, without reducing the price.
What's great about it: When using the guided, and compare to what tax paper you received, even if you forgot something will be reminded.
What's not so great: Alot of advertised question, and updates.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Our e-filed tax was rejected. Turbo tax's explanation of why and how to fix it was informative and easy to fix the problem.

I spent THREE hours trying to find Form 8606 and entering info. Add the price of $Turbo Tax and three hours of my time, I could have had a professional do it!
What's great about it: saves writing it out

Tax confidence spells relief

I've used Turbo Tax for 10 years at least and never had a problem. E-filing is a breeze. Problems or roadblocks are spotted and neutralized. The step by step approach works great for me.
What's great about it: You know your math will add up; you know tax laws will be up to date; you know the forms will withstand scrutiny.
What's not so great: None
