I have used Turbo Tax for many tax seasons. I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future.

Could be more user friendly

The recharacterization of an IRA contribution I had to do was very confusing and kept coming up with two different results and, as a matter of fact, I think it shorted my $200 some dollars on the allowable contribution but I got to the point that I was tired or re-entering the same information over and over and 4/15 is approaching, so I ended up taking it. This is my first year using TurboTax. I used to file with H&R Block. Unsure which one I will pick next year.
What's great about it: Easy to save increments
What's not so great: Recharacterization of IRA contribution VERY confusing

Turbo Tax is worth every penny it costs. as a homeowner with not a lot of deductions it walks me through all possibilities with understandable explanations. i highly recommend it.

Make your Yes/No questions less confusing. "Do you want to continue?" Yes or No. Seem like you ask "If you would like to continue changing ____, click No."
What's great about it: Everything is one click at a time.
What's not so great: Yes/No options seem to be double-negatives. Not obvious answers.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax- been there, done that, keep going back

Been using TurboTax for 20 years, wouldn't use anything else.
What's great about it: simple following instructions, can input my own corrections/adjustments
What's not so great: Step-by-step is tedious

Overcharged, had to pay for state to fill it out and had to pay to efile return.
Based on cost to Efile a simple NJ State tax return I will not how use Turbo Tax next year for any stare returns and I will try to find a better product for doing any Federal returns.
Extremely dissatisfied with how state taxes are handled
