I used Turbo Tax for years wouldn't change for anything
What's great about it: it takes less than a hour to file a long form
What's not so great: you can't have a margarita while filing your taxes

Need More Details

Would be nice to have a little more detail on what it is actually transferring from year to year. For example, on the W2 when it transfers is it simply the company info or the exact wages amount from the previous year.

i have used tt for many years This is wrought with problems in interaction with Mac 10.10 Will NOT print numbers on State forms what garbage same printer as last year updated drivers just poor interaction.

2014 Tax season

This season is like the previos seasons in that, it's extremely easy to use, follow and file! Things I may have forgotten, Turbo Tax reminded me and kept it simple.
What's great about it: Extremely easy to follow.. Clear concise instructions... takes you through everything step-by-step!
What's not so great: I found no cons to this service! I have been using Turbo Tax for years and have never been disappointed.
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So EASY to use!

Been using Turbo Tax for 15 years and will never go to a tax preparer again. Turbo Tax covers ALL the bases and then some and the Customer Service is great. I've called with questions several times the week before April 15th and have always gotten quick responses.
What's great about it: Easy and fast to navigate through the software

Technical issues

did not load previous years info bc i used a cd this year w a different PC... tech support helped me download previous year file in the needed file format
even though i had previous year save on a jump dive plugged in to PC in a PDF. I "browswed" program to PDF file and it said loading info from PDF then locked up

I have been using Tubo Tax for twelve years. Before I retired, I was in sales as an Independent contractor and did my own taxes. I dreaded April 15th and the massive amount of time and paperwork involved.Turbo Tax made the job easy and I was able to file with more confidence.
Turbo Tax my friend.
