Unwanted changes

I've used Turbo Tax for years, but your changes this year to try and force purchase of Turbo Tax Deluxe were an unwanted surprise. I've previously been able to use the Basic edition to do all my tax preparation, but couldn't find a copy locally this year, so I upgraded to the next level. Fortunately, I was able to go the 'forms' mode to get my tax information entered and avoided your attempted ploy to force upgrading further.

What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Investment fee deduction should ask if investments generated taxable income
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: FILING OUT FORMS IS SIMPLE AND EASY TO FOLLOW
What's not so great: PRINT OPTIONS NOT AS USER FRIENDLY AS I ENVISIONED IE: WHAT TO MAIL OR NOT ETC..

Even with the problem re: my state return not getting filed right away, an Intuit on-line specialist got it fixed in less than 5 minutes!
What's great about it: Fastest, easiest way, year after year!
What's not so great: Had a glitch this year in filing state return.

What's not so great: upon reveiw it said fix error return to fix, it never showed the error, it was in loop. never could fix error.

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX SINCE 2001. EACH YEAR IT HAS BECOME EASIER AND EASIER TO USE. I WOULDN'T USE ANYTHING ELSE AND RECOMMEND IT TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

I have purchased Turbo Tax for many years and I appreciate that I can go through each area of taxes and fill in my information and e-file my Federal and State taxes with ease.

Turbo Tax takes hassle out of personal filing!!

I have been using Turbo Tax every year since it has been out. Before that it was the old paper and pencil method. With Turbo Tax doing the calculations, I know I am correct in my entries, so that makes it always easier. I can take my time and do the whole process over several days at my leisure. What used to take me a whole weekend of dedicated "I am doing the taxes, don't bother me right now!" has now become a few evenings of just entering in the information and I am done. I actually got brave and e-filed for the first time last year on my federal return. It helps having done it by hand first, though, so you know the basics of what you need to start off with, but TurboTax makes it a breeze, even to pay my taxes due and my estimated payment calculations!
What's great about it: You can plug in your special situations and it is handled
What's not so great: sometimes "going back" is a little confusing
