If this is what happens to everyone who wants to e-file, then why did I pay for Tubotax? I won't be next year.
What's not so great: Very bad this year,. Says program cannot display the web page.

Not Scary

Makes the yearly stress out period...non-stressful. well designed and easy to use. Sure beats paying someone to do it for you.
What's great about it: Actually makes doing taxes stress free and alot cheaper than paying someone to do it for you.
What's not so great: Can't think of any.

I like Turbo tax the way it used to be years ago where it talked you thru the form rather than by asking questions. Or it could do both.
I would like to see what was entered last year at the page in which you enter this year.
When entering review corrections, It ought to go to the place on the form perhaps also where you answer the question. where you enter the info needed
The software assumes you know what it is refering to. That is not always the case

Tax e-filing

I wish they also had the steps to file your city tax as well.
What's great about it: Fast and easy
What's not so great: No steps in filing city tax.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Confused!

When I tried to enter my State Tax paid on a new vehicle purchase, I had to stop - go to help - write down answer information -then go back to return info. This was very frustrating!
Also when it transferred information from my Federal to State it flip-flopped the recipient information.

Relatively Painless Tax Prep and Filing

The changes from last year that initially resulted in additional charges were rectified and ultimately nothing more than a PR debacle. I have used TT since its inception and plan to continue. I do find the year to year changes to the program inputs simultaneously helpful and aggravating. Also I would like to be able to see comparison/trends from more that the immediate preceding year.
What's great about it: Fairly straight forward and easy
What's not so great: Yearly changes are a mixed bag

TurboTax simplified my 2014 tax return

I will use TurboTax on all my future tax returns.
What's great about it: The format was very easy to use and understand. The forms were all completed as required.
