Good product with a couple of long-standing warts

I have used TurboTax for many years and will continue to do so. If I get the data entered correctly it gives the right answers and guarantees to cover any errors in the program.
I don't like the privacy policy. Therefore I didn't store a backup in their cloud. The policy should allow opt-out of marketing and information uses by a direct link. Instead there is only an off-hand mention of the possibility to opt out. The personal information requested at the bottom of this review form is much more intrusive than I have seen anywhere else that i have posted a comment.
We make many charitable gifts. "It's deductible" is a gem for handling merchandise donations. BUT The program should be able to alphabetize the list of recipient organizations after we have entered it. Also on the associated worksheet the recipient list is shown in a scrolling box, which makes a complete list annoyingly difficult to print.
Nonetheless, I like the program and will continue to use it. I tried one of the high-profile competitors once (Bleah!) and came right back to TurboTax.
What's great about it: Gives accurate answers and does worksheets that would drive me nuts otherwise. "It's deductible" is a gem.
What's not so great: Privacy policy is weak-kneed and some worksheets are hard to print

This is the tenth year in a row I have used TurboTax to prepare my federal and state income tax returns. My continuing use of this program is evidence of my satisfaction with the TurboTax methodology. The improvements made to the program from year to year shows that Intuit is committed to producing an effective and user-friendly product.
What's great about it: "How to" instructions and available help were very effective.

Easy to use

I'm an accountant by trade (but not a tax accountant) I really like the flexibility of the program of being guided or being able to go directly to the areas you need. Good program for either beginner or experienced users.
Good stuff.
What's great about it: Easy to use, flexible, good updates
What's not so great: hamster running site - bet you wonder how many people read that
