Not as good

Turbo Tax used to be great. Intuit is getting sloppy in their programing. A few crashes, not copying in my checking acount info which I had on the screen before. It might be time to try a new program.
What's great about it: It imported from last year
What's not so great: Crashed, asked for things again that were already entered

If I wasn't familiar with Turbo Tax from having used it for several years, I would find the way some of the questions are asked is confusing.
What's great about it: Doesn't change from year to year
What's not so great: It's not easy finding answers to questions sometimes

A software error that has been very prevalent and that people have been complaining about prevented me from e-filing my tax returns, so I had to mail in my returns and hope that they arrive in time. Thanks for nothing.

Turbo Tax 2014 Review

PROS: 2014 version was easy to use with clear instructions. Favorite aspect was the ability to back up and review documentation as often as was necessary without losing all already-entered data.
CONS: 1) Donations section did not allow viewing of all donations as was input, only showed total donation. 2) Should be easier to find signature places for State return; almost missed signing the return. 3) Occasionally, when backing up, lost some data and had to re-input.
What's great about it: Easy instructions, easy to back up and review input
What's not so great: Donations section needs to provide opportunity for add'l data

TurboTax Old Pro

I've used TurboTax for many years now and I can see the improvements that you have made. At the beginning I could not get the program to deduct my NY State pension from my income unless I put it in by hand. No it is a seamless part of the program. Thanks for that.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, and explanations are almost perfect.
What's not so great: Occasionally program skipped a step. Don't know whether it's my computer or your program.

User Friendly

I have used TurboTax every year since 2012 and this is the first year that I've had transmission issues. I finally had to call the help line to get past it. I will say that the help line was able to get me through, but this needs to be checked out. I spent two days trying everything under the sun to adjust my computer and check every possible because after using it for so long, I thought it MUST be something I was doing wrong on my end!
What's great about it: Easy navigation, easy to go back and forth
What's not so great: Not happy that I was asked to pay extra after purchasing software.
