Others were right this year's was not pleasant

could not find your way back to certain areas quickly when correcting return.
as above the constant scrolling instead of going to the next line in the charities section was maddening!
I had to go online to figure out how to get to the Detroit city return information to make sure I answered a question correctly and that took some time to find the return. Nice thing is that the instructions online were pretty good, though not completely accurate; but I found my way.
Now I've been using this program almost since it became available in the early nineties and I have to say this has been the first year where I am considering checking out another program.for next year. Please straighten up the issues!!!!

What's great about it: you could skip sections that did not concern your particular return versus going through the whole thing in past years
What's not so great: never return to the next line only to the top of the page you are working so you always had to scroll, all the time!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy Peasy

I have been using Turbo Tax for 12 years. This year I used Turbo Tax for two friends and it went very quickly. Love, love, love Turbo Tax and the ease of use!

Turbo-Tax has always been easy to use. Never have had a problem.

Transmission troubles

I was unable to transmit for awhile due to an issue with a box on a 1099-R form. There was no explanation of what the state distribution was and why I was getting an error message that box 12a could not be greater or equal to box 14. Actually, I put in an amount in box 14 (0) that was not on the 1099-
R since it was not labeled.there. That was part of the problem, but I also had answered a question incorrectly in the completing of this interview. I wish the program had questioned this and alerted me when I get these same pensions every year. There are a lot of redundant questions within the interview and year to year even though I also use Turbo Tax to complete taxes every year. I got some help for an answer to a question, but the answer led me to contact the pension administrator rather than suggest ways to check my entries etc. Good news was however, I found a mistake when i went back through the interview again and was finally able to transmit my returns.

Seems easier every year!

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years now. I have done my husband and my returns, my adult children(2), and my parents, for so long now I think i can get hired to do taxes! One memorial event for me was when my mother passed in 2010 and Turbo Tax was so helpful walking me me through all the things I had to do on their taxes that year. Thank you Turbo Tax, for making my life a little easier every April.
What's great about it: Transfering last years info makes filing so much more streamlined.
What's not so great: cant think of any cons at the momen,t only mistakes were mine.

Outstanding questions to make the process so easy. Just as I was wondering how the program was going to get through with a tuff subject.... There was the answer.
What's great about it: So easy, I just could not believe I was done.
What's not so great: there were no cookies included with my purchase

I have used Turbo Tax for 15 years. I have never had a problem with this program. Turbo Tax makes simple to follow directions, and easy to understand. Filing my taxes are a stress free event.

Had no issues other than it didn't allow me to transfer information from financial institutions. It did other years I used TurboTax
