I will continue buying this software for my tax needs yearly. very simple to use. It was very smooth and I had no problems, although I had no deductions and was filing single with no dependents so there wasn't a whole lot that have could have gone wrong.
What's great about it: Went pretty smooth with no issues.

Even those with little or no computer and/or tax experience should have no trouble with completing and filing.
It was disturbing to be notified of the need for "deluxe" TurboTax in order to enter HSA information. That should be noted up front on the page to select the product.
What's great about it: Very straight forward, and simple. .
What's not so great: Additional product needed

Overall, I'd have to recommend Turbo Tax to anyone looking to file their taxes and get them done right. With the option for the audit defense, you can assure you have someone protecting you and the certainty things are done right.
What's great about it: Very easy, step by step process
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Fast processing

Total of about two hours filling out and filing federal and state tax forms with itemized deductions. I like the immediate feedback in the corner of the screen after each entry for income, credit, or deduction, showing the tax impact of the entry. The recommendation for filing status for Montana appears to be a default rather than based on the tax impact. This is the only reason I did not rate the program five stars.
What's great about it: fast, easy to follow, immediate feedback of tax impacts
What's not so great: integration of state options (Montana) could be improved

Quick and easy method that I have been using for years. I love that it brings up the previous year and helps fill in pertinent data

QUICK & EASY

I've been using Turbo Tax for 15 years and it's only gotten better and easier to follow. Today is Jan. 24 and i've already eFiled both returns for refunds.
What's great about it: Step by step if you need it, or go right to your necessary categories. Easy to follow; built-in check points.
What's not so great: None for me.
