auto fill is great !

i transfered my 2013 and turbotax filled in everything. so i got my taxes done in a few hours and not 3 days!!! thanks turbotax!
What's great about it: does most of work for you

Tax time is a nightmare and Turbo Tax makes it easier. Also the e-file saves time.

1098-E Deduction Confusion

Google search required to find method for deducting PLUS loan interest without stating name of parents as actual students.
What's great about it: TurboTax is excellent. Very Simple to to navagate and complete.
What's not so great: Confusion trying to deduct 1098-E parent paid PLUS loan interest. Indicates the paying parent must also be the student.

I've been filing w/Turbo Tax for many years now; each year filing is easy but time consuming in way I don't like. Oh well, got to geturdone and Turbo Tax is easy to complete when I finally sit and answer the questions. I like how it remember pertinent personal information so I don't have to repeat myself each year. Thanks

What's not so great: Takes time and I hate financial stuff

solid software

I have used TurboTax for more than 10 years and have never had an IRS review or correction to the forms filed.
It does a good job of being usable for even a tax novice, but any additional knowledge makes it a very good tax preparation program.
I have a fairly simple return so I am unable to appreciate all of TurboTax's sophistication, but what I am able to use including schedule C and associated forms, is great.
What's great about it: Very intuiative; appreciate how it integrates across all form requirments
What's not so great: none

The instruction getting started are not complete or do not match the options. You have to try a couple different selections before you get to where you need to be.
