wow made it so easy

Was hesitant to use Turbo Tax this year- had adoption expenses/credits and education expenses for the first time this year. Bit the bullet and decided to give it a whirl. Easy as pie. Wish I would have known earlier. I have been putting filing these taxes off due to worry about if I had all I needed. Turbo Tax walked me right through it all. Should have done this in February.......
What's great about it: do it in comfort of own home and doesn't matter if you forget paperwork- you can find it when you need to...
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I believe TurboTax is the finest of all online tax return programs. The program response is very quickly and the Walk Thru is outstanding for understanding the inputs. It does get you the smallest tax or the largest tax return. I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and has progressed to the finest of all. I will stay with Turbo Tax.Victorville, CA

What's not so great: I have only one, I didn't get a refund.

A peace of mind!

When you don't need a professional tax person (& their high fee) to do your taxes, this is the program for you. Turbo Tax walks you through, explains, and even allows you to go back to it over and over to fine tune your deductions, etc.
I would put together all our tax information and to be sure not to miss anything prior to handing it over to a professional tax person only for them to just put it in a program and have it spit the same paperwork out that I just have now done with Turbo Tax. And at a much less stressful level and at the convenience of when I can work on it, even in my pj's!
The ease of e-filing is the best invention!

What's great about it: I love how turbo tax walks you through an area if you aren't sure what direction to go in.
What's not so great: Nothing to dislike about this program, that's why we've used it for YEARS...

great product, clean, easy to use interface.
the only down side of this version was the change of moving business filingsto a new product.
What's great about it: easy, concise, thorough.
What's not so great: no longer supports schedule c filing

Why can you not make it so more than one record is saved and can be brought forward from the previous years taxes??????? It is disturbing to have to type in info yearly such as a second records base information plus data from the individuals tax form that should have been captured in the previous years filing.
What's not so great: use much bigger font for answres to questions
