2014 Filing Season Fed & MD

The interface this year is clunky meaning that it will generally not show me the continue button. I can only reach it by using the TAB key. Took a long time to figure this out :-(
Also the program outline always takes me back to the program start up and does not pick up the current data file. I can only get it do pick up the file if I start by clicking on the file itself.
I am using the mac version.
I am disappointed in these errors... they made it very hard to complete the return.
What's great about it: Reliable sort of (see comments)
What's not so great: Interface and program start

RCook - Combo File - efile Fed + mail State

When e-filing a Fed return for refund and on the same return mailing the State portion for taxes due, after e-filing Fed TurboTax does not mention in the [app screens] the next steps to mail in the State tax payment. I have done this many times so I’m familiar with what to do, the print-out has the steps but to a new-comer some additional [app screen] couching may be useful. Product: Turbo Tax Deluxe 2014

Never Quite Sure These Days

I think I'll continue with TurboTax, but my life situation has changed so I may have to go to a CPA to get things totally straightened out. Not sure Turbo Tax can handle it. I'll probably try it first, though, leaving enough time to go elsewhere if needed. After all these years, can't just give it up!
What's great about it: Gives me info from last year, which is a big help in making sure I have everything covered
What's not so great: Had trouble efiling state couple years in a row. Used to promote Turbotax to everyone, now I'm not so sure.

Last year (2013 filing i had the same income items and I had turbotax to import the data from the 1099Rs of 2013 to the 2014 return. Only one to the 4 1099 info was imported to the 2014.

Refund was done, printing was not

They need to improve the print matrix because not many people have bought PDF software to print the actual returns
What's great about it: simple questions asked, options were created
What's not so great: Print matrix needs to be improved, very few non-business people have PDF software
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
