As with all your products it is easy to use and has a wealth of info on any question that happens to come up. Clear and concise answers all the time.

Makes an unpleasant task almost pleasant

I like the fact that it asks questions, however sometimes the questions don't ask the right question and so the answer doesn't fit. Also, since I import last year's information, why does the program make me look up whether I itemized or took the standard deduction when it should know that? Other than that it makes doing taxes almost pleasant.
What's great about it: Does the math and the worksheets for me
What's not so great: Doesn't utilize last year's imported information like it should

Easy does it

Went very well this time. It is improved but an electric glich caused me to lose all that I had done (90% finished) when I could not find or recover what I thought I had saved of my work as I worked.. An auto save might help
What's great about it: Asks all the right questions
What's not so great: need an easier, clearer way, to save as you go

Failed state tax emailing

smart check of state return kept telling me my social security number was to long but would not show me how to correct it. Instead it kept asking me to put in my date of death but I am not dead. Tried redoing personal information but kept getting the same error. Program would not let me email the return unless error was corrected. Read through similar problems in your support area but appeared there was no fix except to print and mail it. All personal information had been copied from last years return and I had no problems last year. No choice now but to downgrade your normal 5 star rating to 2 and rethink using Turbo Tax. And why do I need a nickname to write a review?
What's great about it: easy to use and follow emailing instructions
What's not so great: confusing instructions on how to print and mail in return

What's great about it: So easy to follow
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy, quick and thorough

annual user of TurboTax. Like how it brings all of your information forward from the previous year. Very thorough, TT often asks, "are you sure" types of questions. Also, TT explains tax issues and gives you a perspective like "most people don't have this issue." Makes tax return preparation painless.
What's great about it: knows the questions to ask; if you are a prior user of TurboTax, it imports last years data

I love the way TurboTax makes it easy for someone like me who is not SUPER computer literate to actually itemize my return. The links to each category question or explanations is VERY MUCH appreciated! I have been using TurboTax for several years and it gets easier every time! I don't qualify for alot of deductions but you guys help me find everything I do! Manys thanks!
