Problem for YEARS!!

The fact I've used TT for so many years means that nothing really bad has happened (except your goofy mess up by changing the functional content of the version I know and love.You darn near lost me on that one!
The problem that I have, and it bites me every year.. is the difficulty to do a simple "back button selection" and what happens AFTER I do what I wanted to go back to. It seems as if TT FORGETS that I have already done some things a few steps down the road and it doesn't smoothly pick up. Example:Doing sales tax deductions I forgot to add the sales tax for my new truck.. so I clicked "back" a couple of times. Oh PAIN! The darn thing behaved in a very unpredictable way and I could not get it right. I actually had to start over! From experience I keep very good data inputs so IF #when# I run into this screwy thing I can very rapidly "start over" and reproduce ALL my prior inputs! Why not have a few of your techs try using the back button in various places and I'm sure you'll see what I mean! #And DONT use the same guys that wrote the code!#
What's great about it: The step by step is AWESOME
What's not so great: One glitch that bugs me

What's great about it: easy to follow
What's not so great: did not always unterstand help, probably me
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Not as robust and last year but worked well for me

Couldn't pay for state efile with credit card, had to call in for help.
What's great about it: Thorough and worked well for my simple personal non-bus ret.
What's not so great: Program had trouble displaying some pages and with file pay.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall a great product. Easy to use and it provides good explanations almost all the time. But there are a few holes - some notices about not qualifying for a tax credit, etc are missing; also the pop-ups to fix fields after the edit checks are still mostly baffling. A good explanation of what needs to be done in those cases is really needed. I've realized that you need to flip into 'forms' & then review a few lines but this is not intuitive at all.
What's great about it: simple to use, lots of explanations
What's not so great: edit check pop-ups are confusing, missing some notices about not qualifying for some tax benefit

Always use TurboTax

I hope next year you will go back to the original TurboTax Deluxe and not short change this years version with missing forms.
What's great about it: Fairly straight forward
What's not so great: Changing the Deluxe version was a bad idea

I was a little worried this year hearing about every one getting their refund hijacked, but Turbo Tax made it simple and I felt secure the whole time!
